SPEECH THERAPY
Communication is one of life’s most important skills. For children, it facilitates their ability to learn, to explore their environment, to interact with others, and to communicate their wants and needs. Speech and language delays can contribute to behavioral, social, and educational difficulties. Our pediatric speech-Language therapists evaluate and treat children from infancy through 6 years of age.
Our therapists utilize a multi-disciplinary approach with the child's team and family members in order to create an individualized treatment plan. A child's team may involve the following professionals: speech therapist, occupational therapist, physical therapist, developmental therapist, classroom teacher or educational support team, and nursing staff.
At STARS Academy, we offer private individual treatment rooms to maximize participation in speech therapy sessions. Our Speech-Language therapists have extensive training in pediatrics and years of experience working with a variety of disorders.
